About Me

My photo
Kirkland, Washington, United States
I am a child of God. I am a follower of Jesus. I am a wife, momma, daughter, sister and friend. I love good conversation and hearty laughter. A good cup of coffee is always appreciated. Most of all, I desire to bring others into an experience with Jesus. One that will shape their lives and rock their souls for Him. Geoff is my best friend and amazing husband. Parker is my handsome boy who lives in Heaven. Norah is my bright star and bringer of joy. Tori is my overcomer and peaceful warrior. I live to show Jesus' love to each person He places in my path. I pray this blog strengthens you, comforts you and encourages you and that it MOST OF ALL causes you to want to get to know Jesus in a deeper level.

Have you ever...

...thought about throwing away the rest of your birthcontrol pills without telling your husband?

Evil I know.

No worries, I'll behave...but it's tempting none the less.

But doesn't that negate the whole part in John 1 about children being "born of a husband's will?" ;)
I get what you're saying though. The anticipation is terrible and for your sake, I hope it doesn't last too much longer. Praying hard and thinking good thoughts in your direction.

I'll make a confession; We had 2 sons and I really wanted another child. My hubby was on the fence about it. I "kind" of lost track of my cycle and got pregnant with our third son! I knew my husband would be too nervous to just go for it; we now have a 20 month old son and obviously never regreted it. My hubby is happy and we feel our family is complete now. I always felt there was someone missing; Now I don't. I wasn't on BCP, but was aware of my cycle. I know that I'm not alone doing this. My hubby knew that we were not protected also! Anyway, sometimes we woman have to do what we have to do! Most men are never "ready", but are fine when it happens. It sounds like you are ready again:)

Oh Rachel! I hear you 100%! We had better stay apart so that we don't convince each other to be naughty! :) Love you girl!

Totally been there! I kinda feel that way every few months actually. And yet every time I feel the least bit of a stomach ache, I think it's morning sickness and start panicking! Silly how quickly emotions change.
